Mr Yau Thiam Hwa
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Yau Thiam Hwa was appointed to our Board on 9 June 2016 and is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of our Company.
Mr Yau has gained over 10 years of experience in the banking and finance industry before joining the Megachem Limited and its subsidiaries as the General Manager of Megachem (Shanghai) Pte Ltd and Megachem International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd in 2000.
In 2001, he was appointed as Group Financial Controller of Megachem Limited, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2007. He oversees all financial matters such as financial and treasury planning, financial risk management and investor relations of the Megachem Limited and its subsidiaries.
Mr Yau graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He became a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants in 2013.
